Always an adventure. Good food, good beer, fun live music and antics. People voluntarily pay the staff to spank them with wooden paddles and the staff seem happy to oblige, including proudly sharing how many paddles they have each broken. Our server had broken 26 and so her nickname was Babe Ruth. Contests for people to hold full beer steins in the air the longest. You will sit at large bench tables and end up singing with your neighbors. A bit pricey, but the cost pays for the ambiance and the and fun.

I have visited 2 times now and am never disappointed. It serves its nostalgic purpose of allowing me to reminisce over my times in Germany, at the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich, and while living there. All the usual German favorite are available, meats and sausages, my favorite, spätzle, and actually quite a few vegan and vegetarian options! I love their beer so much, it tastes like it is straight out of Germany. All the nostalgia. Both times I visited there has been live music. Most recently a German who can play the German horn! (The really long ones you see in photos). He asks for German song requests and definitely completes the vibe with both cover songs and German classics, "ein Proooosit!".

Great location and inviting from the street. Came in for dinner and sat family style with a couple that was so much fun! My son ordered a stein of Hefen Weizen and the 3 sausages with mashed potatoes. I ordered the schnitzel and it was delicious and huge! We ordered a side of the potato salad, and it had a bit too much vinegar for my taste. Our waitress Brianna, was fantastic! She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a live band that kept the audience entertained and a woman walking around offering shots with paddles! Really fun experience and the food was delicious

Disclaimer: This review is based on two visits that my then boyfriend, now husband, and I from over 5 years ago. They have some amazing sausage selections! I believe we tried the sampler, and the honey mustard may have taken the cake. The cake is a lie (a little gamer joke here, but I don't think they had cake as a dessert option). The only thing I always remember about this location for many years is the size of their pretzels! They were bigger than my head! I also tried one of their hefenweisens, and it was delicious! There are 2 types of atmospheres depending on the time of day. During the day, they have music playing throughout the property over their speaker systems. During the night time, they have a live German band in full lederhosen with traditional musical instruments. I geeked out seeing the "ricola" horn, haha. So the noise level will differ depending on what time of day you go. They also have a beer garden in the back with large jenga pieces, maybe even a large connect 4? Again, this was many years back. I do remember it was very pretty! I read in the bathroom stalls, "21st birthday, get a free boot of beer!" I thought this was a great way to promote their business. They have women with spank paddles, too. You would purchase a shot of alcohol and the woman will prepare you to get spanked with the paddle. During the day, you will hear the echoing of the slap, but during the night with live music, all I heard was the scream, haha. They have a gift shop area where you can purchase some things. All in all, we had an amazing time, I don't remember if it was only for 21+, but I dont see why children can't be present. Just remember there is alcohol, the noise level is on the high side, and consented "spanking" will be present. I had pictures, but they're all loaded onto an external drive, so I apologize for not providing any images.

At Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas, it is always Oktoberfest. What a great time! I actually came here in the Fall and had not had a chance to do any Oktoberfest celebrating yet. So this place was the perfect place to come to. Oktoberfest is right up there with St. Patrick's Day as one of my favorite drinking holidays. I had heard of this place many times and finally had the chance to stop in. Hofbräuhaus is located a little ways off the Las Vegas Strip. I highly recommend making reservations on the weekend. Hofbräuhaus is much more than just German food and beer. They have created a fun Bavarian beer hall experience with benches and long community tables of people singing and dancing. The beer hall can hold around four hundred people. I tried to talk my buddy into wearing Bavarian outfits, but he chickened out last minute. The food here is spectacular. The menu has all the German favorites like schnitzel, sausages, pretzels and sauerbraten. Hofbräuhaus brews their own beer and keeps Hofbräu Original Lager, Hofbräu Dunkel and Hofbräu Hefeweizenon on tap regularly. I am a huge schnitzel fan and loved my Jägerschnitzel and pretzel. I also ordered a big beer to wash it all down. My buddy is gluten-free and ordered a 3-tier serving tray that had a variety of sausages on it. He enjoyed eating his wieners. Our server was amazing and made this a fun night for us with her friendly personality. Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas was the perfect place to start off our fun weekend in Vegas.

Hofbräuhaus has been on my Vegas List for 5 years. I don't generally waste a nice meal on hearty portions of fattening food but I had to check it out. First off the place is the size of a 24 hour fitness. It's MASSIVE. The tables are benches, so if you're super introverted you'll hate this place. Between the band, the loads of drunk people, the sounds of paddled spankings fill the beer hall with the sound of Germany apparently. Take a shot? Yes! And you get a massive paddle spanking. Not my thing but dudes were lining up getting their fetishes quenched. The food is standard beer hall German. Pretty darn authentic with some American twists. My buddy from Germany said this is the best German food in America and he highly recommends the schnitzel. I'm more of a sausage guy so I went for the veal, white sausage special that came with a Bavarian fresh baked pretzel.. It came with a sweet mustard and the table had a spicy brown for the taking as well. I got a side of German potato salad (the best thing i ate all night) and sauerkraut which was mushy and warm. Gross! I like my sauerkraut fresh, raw and fermented. My wife got a grilled chicken dish with mushroom sauce over spatezel which was excellent if you don't want fried. I highly recommend the Hefeweizen beer which has a very fermented fresh flavor. I loved it! I also loved the fun, drunk and crazy atmosphere. Warning though, if you got spanked with a paddle as a kid this place might bring up some serious bad memories because that's all you hear every few minutes while you're eating your dinner. God speed!

We had a fun time here for dinner with a party of 10. I made reservations and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. They sat us up front near the band and it was perfect for our group. Besides the adults, we had two teens and a toddler and everyone had a great time. The band was very upbeat and interactive with the crowd. They play all kinds of songs and you find yourself singing along. There was another group next to us, also celebrating a birthday so it was a cheery vibe all around. Perfect place for large groups. We had a pleasant, helpful server. We all enjoyed our food, nothing fancy but good. For appetizers we got a couple of the towers of cheese and sausage. We also got a couple of the Pretzel Combos. I had the Pork Roast which is delicious with a savory sauce. The Schnitzels were popular with our group and everyone liked them. Entrees averaged around $32 and sandwiches around $20. The cheesecake was yummy. We liked the German Beers, the larger size, the 1 liter is in a slightly heavy/solid beer stein. There was even a contest the band directed to see who could hold their arm straight out the longest holding a liter beer stein. Two people from our group participated, although neither one. It was cool to cheer everyone on. We spent about $600 as a group and had a wonderful celebration.
